Thérèse has been involved in church music since secondary school. She holds a Bachelor of Music from NUI Maynooth and a Higher Diploma in Theological studies from St Patrick’s College, Maynooth. Thérèse is a cantor and choir member in St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina and regularly sings for liturgies in Maynooth College, Galway Cathedral and St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, Galway. She has a keen interest in chant, renaissance music and music from the Irish tradition. She has represented Ireland at international chant festivals with Schola Gregoriana Maynooth and was a cantor at the International Eucharistic Congress 2012 and the recent World Meeting of Families. She has delivered church music workshops for the Diocese of Killala and was secretary of RSCM Ireland for several years. Thérèse teaches Music and Religious Education in Coláiste Nano Nagle, Limerick City.
